Another issue that should buy firearms. Revolver or Semi?
I have a few semi autos, including 9 mm, a torque, 380 's and .32. Now I'm down to anyone, I just want a gun (but I have an M1 rifle, sitting outside my door) As I am attracted to semi-automatic I am inclined much like a S & W 357 or Ruger SP101 as the main header firearm. I am also looking at the Beretta 92FS or MIS 229 (not sure if you can afford this one) but I really need one of those? or more people who buy them because they see in movies. The fact that the LAPD affect consumer purchases Beretta is a bit too much? Old-School 357 think this might do the trick. Paste in the ground and it will sound. Wounded in the arm? No worries about fireplaces or interference. Soooooo, what are your thoughts? Revolver should I expect? Or should I even consider a 9mm semiautomatic? Thanks in advance. I'll buy tomorrow. I have about $ 600 to spend.
Q: Soooooo, what are your thoughts? Revolver should I expect? Or should I even consider a 9mm semiautomatic? A: My thoughts: Revolvers have benefits. It is true that guns do not jam, but are blocked, especially if it sticks in the ground and try to dismiss them. Or it could explode if not the dirt off the mouth before trying to shoot. My mother died in the eighties. I inherited his old revolver .38 Special. I used it once as a weapon used to kill a rattlesnake. Shortly after cleaned and stored without forgetting most of this until last week. My youngest daughter wanted to see the gun from his grandmother. I left the vault of and was surprised to learn that was completely closed. The cylinder was not opened, the hammer and trigger return has not been frozen. I realized that the lubricant applying light so long, should have been dried and gummed up action. I sprayed liberal amounts of WD-40, wrapped in old cloth and then disassembled and cleaned. Once again applying lubricating oil to light and once launched. As you can see, weapons malfunction due to shooter error and negligence. Revovlers also failed. It's easy to just pull the trigger a second time. And the weapons are available in sizes more powerful than most semi-autos. The .357 Magnum is still recognized as the best manstopper to date (followed closely by the .45 ACP). What are the advantages if you want a gun for self and to defend the homeland. Second semi-autos are not as problematic as in the past. Today, most dysfunctional in semi-autos is due to an error of Fire: holding the gun Limp wristed, does not clean well lubricated properly (too much or too little lubricant) is not clean and maintain in good journals. The Ruger SP-101 is a good choice if you plan to have a firearm at night. Speedloader Keep a very close and you're ready for anything. The last time I had unwanted calls at night all I had was my old Colt Detective Special .38 Special and my Walther P-22 with factory laser sight. My wife and I were alone in our secluded cabin if someone came knocking at our door aa cabin at 1:55 am from Dick Special is easier on the left that I use for my wife and took the automatic pistol shortly. Fortunately for all stakeholders "Night Calls" are the boys 'good' are calling the wrong door. Lesson learned? Only, in these times of stress when you not sure what kind of threat they face, I wish I had brought along my old car service. That or a good 12 gauge pump, double, automatic or not. I decided right away and never found in a remote location without my Glock 20 10mm model (was cover of magazines and night sights Trijicon Hi). And I decided to keep only one shotgun in our car all the time. Only reason, I shared so much importance to give a preview of his final decision. By course, this protection U.S. M-1 Carbine is also effective against unwanted calls tonight. Only deals with his gun in a nightstand. Good luck. Addendum: The fictional character James Bond was armed with a Beretta .25 ACP. This is the first James Bond novels and the early James Bond films starring Sean Connery (the original character of James Bond film). Soon favorite .25 ACP Beretta Bond was taken from him, and was issued a gun with real stopping power: A Walther PPK in 32 Auto! Because the creator of James Bond, was largely ignorant about firearms. Later, James Bond films were armed with anything, from a Walther P-38 (Bond shortly after Sean Connery) in the last firearm issued to 'James Bond' modern '. H
