Can I get into Harvard???
I belong to the UUghetizketza Tribe- A small illiterate tribe in South America. I have been studying very hard so I can leave the tribe and go to a university like Harvard.
My school isn’t even official, it is just a very dirty house on the banks of a river where there are 8 shabby tables. I am by far the top of that class but I do not think it counts.
I managed to score for SAT 1
Reading= 730
Mathematics= 770
Writing =750
My teacher can barely write english, I really want to find a way out of the mess I am in because being in the UUghetizketza Tribe is very very unenjoyable.
I do not have much time to do extra-curricular as I need to spend all my hours studying or working (5 hours a weekday, 10 hours a weekend) to earn a little cash to live off. My work experience is poor though- merely running errands and cleaning for a herb trader.
Please give me guidance to how to make myself recognised by Harvard Standards.
Your qualifications are good, but you should deff. apply to back up schools. Harvard loves unique stories and it sounds like you have one, so you should give it a try. Tell them where you live, how you grew up, and why you want to leave where you are, also tell them what you want to do with your harvard degree. good luck
