Book Review: Hemingway, a life without consequences

Until we read the three-dimensional biography the American writer who has taught the modernist style of writing, I thought I knew everything I ever wanted to know about Ernest Hemingway. Everything is in its literature is in the press and protocol, I thought. But I have not found the man I thought I knew about this biography of James Mellow. Eureka! Biographer James Mellow is both an artist in the history of life that the artists who spoke.
For lovers of Hemingway, "A life without consequences" is the most revealing portrait the writer, probably the most influential of the twentieth century. Much what we know about that man is documented ad nauseam. That was and is universally hated by some, adored and imitated by others can be found in the letters to him and his four wives, publishers, editors and friends, not to mention its many critics, "of slander bastards ", which compares the hyenas of the African novels.
To understand this complex man is his own life, behind the legendary expatriate correspondent emissions heroic man of war, big game hunters, big drinker, a womanizer, partisan, deeply romantic, jealous of his teammates, mouthed Prize Print journalism's Pulitzer and the Nobel Prize for Literature, you should read this book. The extraordinary legacy he left where he came from, what life he did and by what did what he did with his life, vibrating in real people, places and events of this epic that reads better than fiction.
Born in ending a upper middle class of the 19th century Victorian family in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park fashion, Mellow reveals that Hemingway may or may not have been greatly influenced by his mother's musical talent Grace and her father Clarence doctor. But most of his work is autobiographical, his family, childhood friends and adult and enemies are the basis for characters in their stories. Unfortunately, his father, brother and granddaughter Margo all suicides.
The hunting scenes woody Fish and his childhood, his first encounters with the girls and sex are wonderful views in a simpler time. His tragic experience of war appear in the Nick Adams stories and novels. All he did was like Ernest Hemingway in his fiction. And, of course, is whether in Paris, Spain, Cuba, Key West and the life and death. Old photos show Hemingway boy dressed as a girl, that was common then. Hemingway In mature masculinity overcompensate by demonizing homosexuality. He exaggerates his masculinity by womanizer (my) and the relationships involved in partner, while "happily" married. Mellow includes photos of Hemingway's family and the people I knew before, during and after two world wars, including famous women.
Hemingway is, at least, that's more classic Black literature that has found its way to the Hollywood money machine. Join writers like Dashiell Hammett (The Maltese Falcon) and Raymond Chandler (The Big Sleep), Hemingway's "The Killers" and "Have not" the units Classics are a kind of black man who has, without interruption, without the intrusion into his writing life. He worked from dawn until noon and drank the rest day. His short feature, with plenty of space for dialogue between the hard-hitting, finds its way into his novels. By asking the reader to question, to contemplate what the characters might be thinking but not saying, Hemingway is dedicated to the imagination. With few exceptions, I think that's why most scripts are not as successful as the original books.

About Ernest Hemingway is larger than life until he can no longer tolerate the myth that has grown and the expectations they have of themselves same. Your body physically ill from war wounds and aircraft accidents, the vanishing of mental capacity, what else is there to blow dad brains? "
