What is a good hand gun for concealed carrying?
I used to carry a Glock 23 but it was to big and very heavy, now I am carrying a Kahr CW 40 but have had complications with it. I am looking for something durable, approx. $450-$500, and am able to personalize (sights, grips, etc.) ! Please give specific make and models.
If you like Glocks and are partial to the .40 then why not try a Glock 27? It is very concealable. Outside of that, Smith and Wesson’s Compact .40 in the M&P line is also nice, same with XD. To get any more concealabe you will have to compromise on caliber and drop to a 9mm, unless you go to a revolver inwhich case you will have to compromise on caliber. Just don’t drop below 9mm in an autoloader or .38 special in a revolver, since they do not have adequate penetration and expansion abilities.
