Is the pump 12 gauge Winchester Defender shotgun with a good general purpose rifle?
As for bird hunting, deer, etc.. Also homeland defense and practice as a white paper for general use and skeet. Are there any drawbacks to this weapon? Thanks for any help and expertise is greatly appreciated! 
Absolutely. The defenders are very flexible, but I would recommend a striped Slug gun if you want to hunt deer.
