Has anyone else had this happen to their laptop touchpad?

I do not use a mouse, I use the touchpad on my laptop and am happy with it but just the last 2 days the cursor/pointer (the arrow/hand) sometimes quivers or disappears temporarily, what causes this? I have not changed any settings and have tried restarting the laptop but it still does it, I even tried to update the drivers too but to no avail.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.

i dont really know but i think thats happened to me and i did the same thing i told you(scanned for viruses)and it really worked
